United States Colleges and Universities
Help for Student Victims of Hurricanes
Following the devastation
of Hurricane Katrina, U.S. Colleges and Universities
are opening their doors to provide special admittance
and support to displaced students. As many as 100,000 students
may have been affected. This site includes links to the homepages of
U.S. colleges and universities as well as a direct link to a site on
that campus with information about special assistance for students
displaced by the Hurricane. We are also working to collect
information about special support through international universities
and study abroad programs. Click on any state or the
alphabetical list below to find a university, its homepage,
and the Hurricane Assistance Information where available. Along with
college and university links found
below, our other links provide other useful information on how
college and university students can get help.
