The Center for Global Education promotes international education to foster cross-cultural awareness, cooperation and understanding. Living and working effectively in a global society requires learning with an international perspective.

International Student Outreach Presentations

Sharing your knowledge with others about a place you lived can promote cultural exchange. Hearing your first-hand experiences can encourage others to explore the world through travel or study abroad and create cross-cultural awareness, cooperation, and understanding. In addition to verbally explaining about where you studied or lived, it is helpful to use a visual aid in your presentation.

First read the previous sections in International Outreach if you haven't already about how to plan and give a presentation. Then, download the PowerPoint presentations created for you as a template for your own presentation. There are two sections with PowerPoints you can use depending on if you are presenting to U.S. students about your home country or presenting to students back home about studying in the U.S.
